St. Paul and Islamic Society of the East Bay (ISEB) will be co-sponsoring a Health Fair on Saturday, January 12th from 10:30-3:00. This will include a blood drive, emergency preparedness workshops, health information, and health screenings such as eye, blood pressure, and dental for the uninsured/under-insured. More information will be coming soon.
Volunteers needed for:
– Distribution of flyers—help distribute flyers to various locations in weeks prior to Fair
– Greeters—direct people to registration table and to the various offerings
– Child care—need adults and teens to cover 2-hour time slots at the ministry center (pre-school)
– Registration table attendants
– Nurses and medical staff – blood pressure and other health checks
– Translators, any language, but especially Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog
– Set up and take-down—need helpers to get the sanctuary back in order for services the next day
